Young Yuvraj Duggal Raises $22,000 for Belize Zoo
Belize -- On Dec. 2, the Belize Zoo was the venue for honoring the achievement of Yuvraj Duggal who raised over twenty two thousand Belize dollars for The Belize Zoo.
The donation is specifically geared toward the Problem Jaguar Rehabilitation Program which helps “Problem Jaguars” recover before transferring them to a zoo in North America where they are to become part of an important captive breeding program. Yuvraj arrived in Belize along with his family to make the presentation of the twenty two thousand dollars in a short ceremony at the Belize Zoo. Present was the Ambassador of the United States to Belize, Vinai Thumallapally and the director of the Belize Zoo, Sharon Matola who explained the importance of this donation.
According to Love News, Yuvraj came to Belize last summer and was hosted by Ambassador Thumallapally and his wife. It was the Ambassador’s wife who suggested that he volunteer at the Belize Zoo at the time they were rebuilding after hurricane wreckage.
