Birmingham, AL -- Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India between 2002 and 2007, recipient of honorary doctorates from thirty-eight universities and country’s three highest civilian honors – ‘Padma Bhushan’ (1981), ‘Padma Vibhushan’ (1990), and ‘Bharat Ratna’ (1997), has pioneered India Vision 2020 and has focused the sustainable development system of PURA” – (Provision of Urban Amenities in RuralAreas) by harnessing the potential of the rural masses of the world.

PURA outlines Dr.Kalam’s vision for every individual and organization - a vision that can create 3 billion empowered, productive and healthy citizens, and generate 3 billion smiles.

… Share and Care Foundation endorses the PURA-System looking to its Vision and pledge to justify its activities accordingly, of course with its limited resources & capacity

Share and Care Foundation mission is “To obtain resources, including funds, money, and property TO PROVIDE HELP AND ASSISTANCE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF HEALTH CARE, EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS, OR ANY OTHE PERSONALNEEDS FORWHICH THEY CANNOT PROVIDE THEMSELVES.”

We are a non-profit charitable organization with zero percent overhead, providing highest possible value to the community of United States of America, India, United Kingdom, Canada and South Africa. All donations to Share & Care are tax deductible under IRS Code 501(C). At present, Share and Care has operating Centers in Birmingham AL, Atlanta & Augusta GA, Houston & Dallas TX, San Francisco CA and Saint Louis MO. Vadodara, Ahmedabad & Surat; Gujarat India

Education Projects:

  1. Provided School Fees, Uniforms & Books to Students of twelve Schools
  2. Winter Jackets for students provided to fifteen Schools
  3. Note Book/Pen-Pencil/Shoes/ Backpack for students provided to twelve Schools
  4. Silting Carpets & Benches for students provided to four Schools
  5. Supported four schools Libraries
  6. Air Circulation/ Ceiling fans for classrooms provided to twelve Schools
  7. Supported three Handicapped student’s schools
  8. Leprosy Institution student’s supply, supported two institutions
  9.  Mentally Challenged School supply; supported three Schools


Medical Projects:

  1. Arranged six Medical Camp for Senior Citizens/ Community Center/ School
  2. Arranged three Dental Services Camp
  3. Provided Prescription Medicines to needy patients of twelve families
  4. Donations to two Hospitals for well-being of Leprosy affected people
  5. Supported Three Mentally Challenged Children Schools
  6. Supported three Handicapped Children Schools


Community Services Projects:

  1. Extending moral & financial support to reestablish victimized fifteen families
  2. Food services to 1590 Homeless Men, Women, and Children
  3. Arranged Charity Garba-Dance Program
  4. Provided 120 Boxes of  Clothing’s, Household things, Children Clothing, Children Shoes –Toys –Games to the needy organizations
  5. Provide Nutrition food & Clothing to 165 needy village families
  6. Clothing Distribution to 85 Widow/Divorcée Women
  7. Provide assistance to twenty families to go to Hospital, Doctor’s office, Nursing Home, Airport, and Church
  8. Provides funding to serve food to homeless people
  9. Held two Community Garage Sale for fund raising and donated surplus usable goods and furniture to needy organization
  10. Provided Woolen Sweaters and Blankets to sixty needy families during winter
