Indian Groups Rally Behind Sandy Stimpson’s Campaign for the Mayor of City of Mobile

What a beautiful event it was on Wednesday, August 7 at the Holiday Inn, Tillmans Corner in Mobile, Alabama.

All three Prestigious Organizations of Mobile - Gujarati Samaj of Mobile, Indian Association of Greater Mobile (IAGM), and South Alabama Area Store Owners Association (SAASOA), joined hands to support Sandy Stimpson for his campaign to be the Mayor of the City of Mobile.
 
Several leaders and members representing Gujarati Samaj of Mobile were Ketan Patel, Kalpesh Patel, Nikhil Shah, Jai Patel, Rocky Patel, President Krishna Nalluri, Madhu Chilukuri, and Vankatesan Srinivasan.
 
Representing IAGM were Mahesh Batavia, Kumar Palle, Damodar Kunche, Suren Baliga, Manoj Annyarumbhatla and many others.
 
All were were enthusiastically supporting Bharat Patel, Pulin Patel, Raj Patel, Rocky Patel and Jigar Patel of SAASOA in welcoming Sandy Stimpson.
 
Attorney BJ Lyon gave an introductory speech followed by Bharat Patel who gave the real perception of what the Indian Community does for the City of Mobile and how much more it is capable of helping and being part of the growth of the City of Mobile.
 
Sunny asked about the Tourism and Manish Patel inquired about the school system and taxes.
 
Tony Havard, Headmaster from the UMS Wright who is a friend to the Indian Community was present as a big supporter.
 
Stimpson assured everyone that he is here to get Mobile to be a safe place, a city that invites plenty of tourists who can spend money in the city, and he said that Indian Community would have a Seat at the Table.
 
Our next generation youngster Gaurav Agarwal wanted to help each student achieve his/hers dream and needed help from the city to connect all students and develop a program for that. Sandy was impressed and asked him if he would like to work for the mayor. Volunteering by Sreeram and Nikalesh was appreciated by many.
 
Stimpson shared his vision, which was totally accepted and applauded by the Indian community.
 
After the question answer forum, the supporters enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Jayantibhai Patel. 
 
Pulin Patel of SAASOA did an amazing job in putting the event together.
