Five Years of Charity and Community Services, Share and Care Foundation USA 2012 Project Report

Share and Care Foundation USA was established in Birmingham, Alabama five years ago. Share and Care has established network of volunteers over five countries. 

Share and Care Foundation USA in its 5th year has picked up very good momentum. Being a small charitable entity, it has made the difference in communities at home and abroad.  Our community has done tremendous job in supporting some of the projects we do. The donations as small as $100 put to work 100% with no overhead cost.  One can completes entire project for that amount or if the project requires larger funds, Share and Care matches the fund up to 50% to complete the project. We are always looking for volunteers and donors for various projects.

Our mission of this foundation shall be to obtain resources, including funds, money and property to provide help and assistance to people who are in need of health care, educational benefits, or any other personal needs for which they cannot provide for themselves. The foundation shall generally conduct as a benevolent non-profit organization, the benevolences of which are, however, expressly limited to charitable, scientific, literary, health care or educational purposes.

We are a non-profit charitable Alabama based Corporation with zero percent overhead, providing highest possible value to the community of United States of America, India, United Kingdom, Canada and South Africa. All donations to Share & Care are tax deductible under IRS Code 501(C). At present, Share and Care has operating Centers in Birmingham AL, Atlanta & Augusta GA, Houston & Dallas TX, San Francisco CA and Saint Louis MO.

Our motto is “Service to Mankind is Service to God”.

Education Service Projects:

  • Provided fees, books and uniforms to students of 6 primary schools, high school and 3 K.G Schools
  • Supported education programs of 20 primary schools, 3  high schools and 5 Kinder Garden Schools
  • Installed 18 Ceiling Fans at 4  primary schools
  • Provided class room supply and Breakfast/Lunch funding to Handicapped School
  • Provided Library Books to 4 Primary Schools and 3 Kinder Garden Schools
  • Providing Sitting Benches/ Carpets to 4 primary schools
  • Provided Winter Jackets to 5 primary schools

Note: your $10 donation can support 3 primary school students or 2 high school students and donation of $50 can support one college student (in India).

Share and CareMedical Service Projects:

  • Held Community Health Fair in Birmingham AL USA. More than 138 people participated, provided Prescription Medicines, Dental Services and Medical Services to needy families.
  • Held Free Medical Camp at Vadodara India; More than 145 families participated. Provided Prescription Medicines, Dental & Medical Services to needy families.
  • Held Dental Camp at Vishrampura School, Guj India, More than 165 students participated, Sonography-33, Dental Extraction -30.All received Dental Care kit. Provided Dental Kit.
    • Held Dental Camp at Girls High School, Ahmedabad India; More than 135 students participated.
    • Held Dental Camp for Sri Rang School  Students at Vadodara India; More than 145 students participated, Sonography-45,Dental Extraction -20,Ultrasonic Cleaning 78. All students received Dental Care Kit.
    • Held Dental Camps for New Heaven School students at Vadodara, India. More than 88 students received Ultrasonic Scaling Composite filling and Extraction treatment. Provided Dental Care Kit.
  • Donated Fund to NAR Ambulance-Clinic on Wheels Project for 16 Villages.
  • Medical Camp at the Way of the Cross Ministries, Gadsden AL USA: More than 125 Men, Women and Children participated. Provided Dental Care Kit.

Community Service Projects:

  • Provided 2 new sewing machines to families of a village to establish their own business.  
  • Provided household and food items to 110 needy families
  • Provided clothing’s bags to 74 widows.
  • Provided food assistance, canned food boxes, flash lights, water bottles and other house hold goods to Salvation Army’s homeless people
  • Provides assistance to people to go to Hospital, Doctor’s office, Nursing Home, Airport, and Church
  • Provides funding for about 1500 dinners and volunteering services to serve food to homeless people at Salvation Army
  • Held a Community Garage Sale and donated 30 boxes of usable goods, 15 boxes of Clothing, 6 boxes of Toys and furniture to Salvation Army.
  • Musical Evening set for dental camp’s project support
  • Share and CareDonated 26 boxes of house hold goods, 55 boxes of breads,30 boxes of clothings,25 boxes of children clothing and toys,3 ea Computers with Keypads and monitors, 5 ea Fax machines and telephones to Jimmy Hale Mission
  • Alabama Tornado Digester Relief Fund: delivered 14 Boxes of Food & House hold items, water Bottles, Bed Sheets, Toiletry items.
  • Provided support for Hospital Supply (Medicines), Food Grains, Pulses and Snacks for 350 disabled inmates and children of Shram Mandir, Sindhrot.India
  • Held GARABA for Charity: Raised fund for Medical and Community Services projects.
  • Supported three days Civic Education Discourses by well-known social/religious speakers.
  • Supported Food & Snacks for 1003 inmates and children of Sahyog Kushtha Yagna Trust.
  • Woolen Blankets and Saree handed over to 90 needy families of the village.
