India displays It’s Biotechnology Strengths through India Pavilion at BIO 2011
Washington DC: The Indian biotechnology industry will display its advancement and latest technology at an international convention in Washington this week.
Industry lobby Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with Association of Biotechnology Lead Entrepreneurs (ABLE) facilitated by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. Of India, will organize an India pavilion at the Bio International Convention 2011 being held in Washington June 27-30.
Indian Pavilion will be inaugurated by Dr. M. Bhan, Secretary DBT and will witness the presence of other dignitaries H.E. DCM, Ambassador Mr Arun K. Singh, Mr S. Raghavan, Joint Secretary DBT, Dr T. Madhan Mohan, Advisor DBT, Dr. Debopriya Dutta, Counsellor S&T, Dr. Rajesh Jain, Chairman CII National Committee on Biotechnology & JMD, Panacea Biotec and Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee, DG CII.
CII Mission members will interact with budding entrepreneurs in a special program designed for one to one interactions called BioBiz. These interactions may lead to certain collaborative research program between Indian and US organizations.
