Bhajan CD ‘Makhan chor Nand kishor’ by Sangeeta Singh
An upcoming bhajan singer, Sangeeta Singh has released her Bhajan CD named ‘Makhan chor Nand kishor’. The lyrics of the title song were written by Sangeeta while composition was by Rahis Khan. Sangeeta’s passion for singing began at a very early age. She took Hindustani classical vocal training from Pandita Tripti Mukherjee in Pittsburgh who herself is a Pandit Jasraaj’s disciple.
Sangeeta currently resides in San Diego and is continuing her singing passion. She is now being trained with Rahis khan who is an accomplished Bhajan and ghazal singer. She has given several bhajan programs with Rahis khan at the temples in San Diego on various religious occasions like Krishna Janamashtami and Mahashivratri.
Sangeeta did her Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry. She worked as a post doc at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and University of Pittsburgh.
