The U.S. Transportation Department has slapped a $80,000 fine on Air India for failing to post customer service and tarmac delay contingency plans on its web site and adequately inform passengers about its optional fees.

DETROIT, May 2 —Twenty-two Detroit-area residents were charged today for their roles in psychotherapy, home health care, and infusion therapy schemes to submit more than $58 million in false billing to Medicare, announced the Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services.

Prominent Scientist Loses Berkeley Homes After Prolonged Battle With City

Six Indian-Americans receive Soros Fellowships for New Americans

NEW YORK -- Announced in April,  thirty new Americans – immigrants and children of immigrants from 20 different countries – have won the prestigious fellowships to pursue advanced degrees. Each award provides up to $90,000 in tuition and maintenance support for two years of graduate study in the United States in any field of study.
